It’s a day of Celebration and Thanksgiving!
Since early November, Wing Kei Greenview Long-term Care is new home to 80 seniors. On December 14, 2018, an official grand opening ceremony was held at Wing Kei Greenview. Honourable Sarah Hoffman, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, Honourable Lu Zhu, Consulate General of the People's Republic of China, MLA Craig Coolahan, City Councillor Sean Chu, and nearly 200 other community leaders and friends celebrate another Wing Kei's major milestone with all of our residents, family members, volunteers and staff members. With broad smiles and lots of excitement, all the residents are guests of honour in the event, Seniors and families gathered to enjoy and embrace this special day. We understand the process of finding a new home for your loved ones may be challenging but we are here to support you in the decision making and application process. If your loved one has been assessed by Alberta Health Services and deemed suitable for admitting to a long term care facility, please make sure that you request the file to be considered by both Wing Kei Care Centre (Crescent Heights) and Wing Kei Greenview Phase 2 (our second long term care facility). Our hope is that when seniors come to Wing Kei, their emotional, spiritual and physical needs are being fulfilled. These are blessed years for the residents, and these years should be filled with peace and joy.
