POSITION SUMMARY

Under the guidance of the Director of Facilities, or designate, the Administrative Assistant will be a member of the Administrative Team, responsible for the provision of overall administrative support while working within the mission, vision and values of Wing Kei. If you possess the energy and skills to thrive in a growing organization and believe in our organization’s vision and mission, this may be a great opportunity for you.

 

THE ROLE

Key Accountabilities

  • Demonstrate, promote and advocate the Wing Kei vision, mission and core values
  • Maintain good documentation & filing system and an organized supplies inventory
  • Coordinate and participate in researching, surveying & data collecting, and result analyzing, to maintain and improve qualified service
  • Liaise with management team and senior administrative coordinators to handle requests and queries from internal customers
  • Plan and participate in meetings & trainings and take detailed minutes as required
  • Provide general administrative support to the organization

  • Has completed a Business Administration certificate program or equivalent
  • Proven ability to work with numbers; previous experience in an administrative role preferred
  • Is an individual who exhibits high ethical standards and consistent sound judgement
  • Is dependable, self-motivated to work with minimal supervision
  • Thrives in a growing organization, remaining a positive attitude through temporary challenges
  • Finds it easy to enjoy a variety of tasks, and is eager to grow and learn
  • Can manage through some fluctuations in pace of work while still disciplined in meeting deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Has great phone and office etiquette, enjoys building rapport and connecting with a diverse audience
  • Has good computer literacy; experience in Microsoft office required
  • Communicates well in writing, speaking and presenting; ability to communicate in Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset
