Wing Kei Village

The Wing Kei Village, envisioned as a three-phase project, will be a diverse community for seniors to age in place, even as their personal and health needs change. This ambitious project will integrate continuing care services, seniors' independent living and mixed usage buildings for professional offices, retail spaces, and market housing. The Wing Kei Village will ensure seniors stay woven into the fabric of their community, their city, their home.

Wing Kei Highland Park Care Centre

The Wing Kei Highland Park Care Centre, the first phase of the Wing Kei Village, will consist of 180 beds for residents, offering culturally-appropriate long-term care and hospice care for seniors in Calgary. Construction of the new facility has begun and is projected to open in February 2026.

Just as the sun blazed, we felt your passionate support for Wing Kei and our seniors. It marks a significant chapter in Wing Kei’s journey — the roof topping of the Wing Kei Highland Park Care Centre at Wing Kei Village. It is more than just a construction milestone; it is a powerful symbol of the dreams we are building together. As the walls for the Wing Kei Highland Park Care Centre rise, and we continue to raise funds for its construction, we are constantly reminded of the generosity of our community, that has led them to support the Circle of Joy. Circle of Joy Capital Campaign

Care funding for the Wing Kei Highland Park was confirmed by Alberta Health Services in Spring 2023. This operational funding will begin once the centre is complete.

It is up to us, as a community, to build it. A total of $85M in capital investment is needed for the first phase, of which we aim to raise $5 million from the community. Cornerstone donations — from people who believe in the inherent goodness of caring for seniors — are vital to realizing the Wing Kei Village.
