At Wing Kei Crescent Heights on January 21st, 2025, we were honoured by the visit of Madam Zhao Liying, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Calgary, and her team: Deputy Consul-General Wang Xiusheng, Consul Hou Shen, and Deputy Consul Zhuang Chen.
In celebrating the Lunar New Year, Madam Zhao brought tremendous joy to the residents, joining them in song and laughter. We are grateful to the Consulate-General for their generosity, bringing mandarin oranges and specialty gifts from Shanghai to the residents.
“Every year, it is a pleasure to visit the seniors,” Madam Zhao remarks, “It is our tradition to care, love and honour our elderly.”
