A highlight of the ceremony was the opportunity for attendees to sign their names on the steel beam, symbolically leaving their mark on the future of Wing Kei. Each signature represented not only their presence at the event, but also the collective hope, prayers, and support of our community for the generations of seniors who will one day call this new place home.
Looking ahead, Wing Kei Highland Park Care Centre is scheduled to open in Fall 2026, this facility will provide over 180 continuing care beds, including a specialized dementia unit and a 16-bed hospice unit. These spaces are being thoughtfully designed, integrating a small home concept in each unit, ensuring that residents receive not only the highest standard care, but also the dignity, compassion and love that define Wing Kei’s mission.
The Roof Topping ceremony was more than a construction milestone, it was a celebration of community and shared vision. Together, we are building a place where seniors and their families will continue to experience the warmth of unconditional love and the strength of courageous innovation.
